Dot NAME Domain Names

Introduced in 2001, the Dot NAME gTLD is the only one intended for personal sites only. These domains can consist of personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other designations people are popular by. At first, solely 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you desired to register john.doe.name, you would have to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already bought third-level domain names remained functional.

You will be able to switch the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an active domain to our company if you obtain its EPP transfer code from the current registration provider and we will renew it once the transfer has been finalized.
